Soft Serve Girls

Ever since I, for some unknown reason, decided to draw soft serve all the time, I have been craving it like crazy. Hopefully this weekend I can finally have some!

happy birthday

My mom's birthday is Tuesday so I made her a card with her two dogs on it. Aww.

Sketchbook #1

illustrations

Here are some quick illustrations I did a while ago with Prismacolors. They're pretty much just ideas to be expanded on...I was mostly trying to figure out how to use Prismacolors well (note the overlapping, ahh).

Card #1, Scanned Photos

A possibility for a card...it would say Merry Christmas between the bow and the bottom but I didn't want to ruin it with my handwriting when I'm not sure how to write it yet, so...

I also scanned in some more old slides that I found at the thrift store a few years ago. Ignore the incredibly annoying green line in every picture...apparently all of my electronic equipment is dying these days :( The pictures are from 1958 and I just realized I scanned a few in backwards, so that's why the writing is all weird. Sorry!

This baby is about 50 years old now...pretty weird.

My computer died :(

Of course, right after I got the idea to update every day on what I did, my computer completely crashed. So I'm on Matt's now, and this is what I've done for the past two or three days:

Put up these awesome cards in the office that we found at the thrift store.

Testing my new markers!

Made "Pesto Potato and Sundried Tomato" layered slow cooker dish...the pictures I took of the actual food looked disgusting so this will have to do!

Sketches for Sebastien Idea

Today, I also made cinnamon toast (difficult, I know..) and dyed my hair dark brown! Tomorrow I'm going to get Illustrator and work on coloring in some images on the computer to see if I like that more than the Prismacolors I usually use.
