Happy 4th

Back from my hiatus, I did tons of thrifting in Ohio last week! Today is my third favorite holiday and we went up to Prospect Park and got burritos and ate them in the shade and then went to the botanic garden.













We went to the end of our street to watch fireworks but they were somewhat disappointing because in celebration of Henry Hudson, they moved them to the Hudson River. So everything except the tallest ones were totally obscured by downtown Manhattan. At least we got a good view of Jersey City's? Oh well! We thought it was a pretty even trade for only having to walk less than 5 minutes instead of sitting in a huge crowd and taking the subway for an hour.
